Six architects have been asked to design water fountains for London. For inspiration, they were taken to Istanbul to view the public fountains there (tough life). I wasn’t sure about this concept when I heard it on the radio, as I had envisaged the sort of thing we used to have at school. Now I’ve viewed the designs I can see that they are far bigger and more impressive than I’d thought.
